Light of the World is a new family feature directed by John Schafer and Tom Bancroft and relays the story of Jesus through the eyes of his beloved young friend John.

Light of the World was animated here at Lighthouse Studios, where we managed the process from layout through to compositing using a hybrid pipeline of traditional and digital animation.

The film was released in multiple territories in September 2025, followed by a global release. Here's a pic of some of the team taken at our production kick-off!
