give back
Lighthouse Studios regularly supports a number of local causes through charitable giving, fundraising and sponsorship of community events and festivals.
Each year, we host our own festival, Kilkenny Animated, with Cartoon Saloon. Our Pathways to Animation strand, run with the National Talent Academy of Animation, is a huge hit each year!
We also regularly sponsor student prizes for upcoming talent, including the LSAD Graduate Showcase and Animation Dingle.
In 2025 & 2026 we are also partnering with PAWS Animal Rescue Centre to help raise funds for the charity's urgent kennels appeal.
In 2023, we launched Lighthouse Goes Green — a studio-wide sustainability initiative. We added basement recycling, LED lighting, timer switches, and a supplier environmental framework. Our Take It or Leave It shelf rehomes treasures; events follow minimal-waste rules; and travel prioritises public transport and carpooling. In 2024, using Roody for our crew hoodies planted 203 trees!
